" Our job is to deliver to you, our client, quality translation at an appropriate price "
Stuart Milne
Director
The Language Room Ltd
" Machine translation is not good enough as you need to understand a text to translate it: to understand its meaning, its context and its cultural background.
Understanding the importance of localisation
Localization in Hindi is important but specific attention must also be given to other languages like Gujarati, Bengali and Marathi. These all are all official state languages or major spoken languages, in the states of Hindi belt along with Bhojpuri, Magadhi Maithili, Pahari, Kashmiri, Rajastani, Harayanwi, Malvi, Kumaoni. "

The Hindi Language
In the Indian population, Hindi dialects are spoken by nearly half the native speakers. For Hindi translation purposes, Hindi, along with English, is recognised as an official language of communication in India. This form of Hindi is also called Standard Hindi. There are however, another 22 languages spoken by the population of India.
Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language and is spoken mainly in northern and central India. This area of India is actually called the Hindi belt. Nonetheless, Hindi is the most commonly spoken Indian language. Hindi translations are also important outside India with neighbouring countries Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan widely spoken in Hindi.
The term Hindi is also used to generally describe India's language; however, caution should be applied as there are a number of other major languages in India such as Gujarati, Bengali and Marathi.
